In 2020, we embarked on the restoration of a national cultural monument from 1930 in the centre of Košice. This is the building of the former Post and Telegraph Office, also called the "Main Post Office", whose historical value, location in the city centre and land with an area over 1.3 hectares create a unique and very attractive combination of properties.
Our intention is to restore the original dominance of this beautiful functionalist building, to use its potential and give the national monument its former lustre.
By sensitively transforming the huge complex, we are gradually restoring its multifunctional character and bringing modern premises of A-category to the people of Košice. Currently, 90% of the space has been leased.
Throughout the entire reconstruction of this postal palace, we are cooperating closely with the Regional Monuments Authority. We are trying to preserve the original materials everywhere and supplement them with modern elements that the present requires. We are also trying to ensure that the building will not only be sustainable, but also economically independent and efficient in the future. The entire complex has been a whole for more than 90 years and it is very important to us that it remains this way in the future.
